The illustrious students of Spelman College were part of a flash mob! But wait.. not just any kind of flash mob, not like the Harlem Shake videos you see all over YouTube, but a scientific flash mob! Sounds interesting huh? Well, just a little background information for my lovely readers, Spelman college was in partnership with NSF/NASA for Chemical Evolution for this flash mob. It is essentially about chemistry, what it stands for and its evolution. No, not necessarily about protons, and neutrons, but more so about molecules; disassembling and reassembling. The students were required to have a MP3 player to participate. The MP3 file simply dictates what the student should do, and in the process of doing that, the students are redefining how interesting chemistry is.
